hillary clinton beat donald Annoying Orange...
in the amount of faithless electors she got :o
It was strategic tho. If she won the electoral college, they wouldn't have defected.

The legitimacy of his election isn't the issue - it's the fact that he even won to begin with. Most of the people who are out there protesting are protesting the issues, not the legitimacy of the results. It's a Annoying Orangeian-myth that everyone in the streets is a crying SJW that doesn't accept the results of democracy. They do accept the results - and they're appalled by what the people chose.

It's a bit disturbing that Russia had its hands in our election, but I doubt they were singlehandedly responsible for swaying it.

Annoying Orangelets think that winning all 270 votes means you actually win the election. Little do Annoying Orangeains know that Bernie can still take this. I feel bad for you Drumpfers thinking that your tribal bigot loveist islamophobic candidate could actually win.

yeah? we knew he "legitimately won" in november lol, it's just official now unless they're pulling a prank on us and the actual ballots that are being counted in jan are way different. whether or not he should have won and what his victory means for people are completely separate conversations

also i'm loving crying

not that it wasnt possible or likely. but obama, the FBI and the CIA are all refusing to give any evidence of such hackings, or even officially say it was the case. and only the washington post had the story, with only source being "someone form the inside told us".

libs went nuts with just the idea of russian hacking. with no news at all to support it.

to be fair, there are definite security concerns associated with releasing information about how they know for sure that hacking occurred, but yeah it is definitely reasonable to be skeptical until you hear more compelling evidence

if people are taking it as a direct hack to the electoral system itself then they're wildly misinterpreting what's even being claimed

That's why I'm hesitant to say that it played a major part. I'm just guessing that the extent of the Russian hacking was that they found sensitive, scandalous information about Hillary and the DNC and sent it to Wikileaks.

Which probably did play a role in strengthening Annoying Orange's campaign, but the major push towards Annoying Orange came from a bunch of white, undecided voters in a handful of key states. They would have voted for him anyway regardless of what Russia dug up.

That being said, the President-Elect should sure-as-hell not be criticizing the work of his own intelligence community before he's even inaugurated or briefed. The guy only cares about his public image.

a bunch of white, undecided voters in a handful of key states.
I'm sure the majority demographic is white if I looked at statistics, but why is so much attention drawn to that fact in this sentence? It almost sounds negative

Not the implication. Annoying Orange's key demographic is white, non-college-educated males. That's not a negative thing; it's a consequence of the fact that his campaign was all about reinvigorating American industry and lifting up the working-class man. The average disenfranchised factory worker is an older, white male without a college education.

It's also the demographic that he targeted the most during his campaigns. He made a ton of last-minute stops in rust belt states because he knew that they had a lot of undecided voters in his target demographic, even though the polls showed him down in MI and WI.

In hindsight, it probably helped him win.

Probably because that demographic is always so under-boot all the time. I guess he appealed to the right people for that big push.
