Yeah all that military intervention in the Middle East has really done a lot of good right

Those economic plans that aren't based in reality are much better buddy

terrorism has practically disappeared!!!!!

Terrorists HATE him!

now my only question is if the replacement of the FBI director is going to make a final conclusion/do more effort on finding more evidence, if there is anymore left of course, of this situation in the job.
Donald et al. might order them to try to find some more evidence, but if they do it's going to be for show. Hillary's not going to be sentenced at this point. If she did break the law, the evidence just isn't there, Comey and friends would have found it after multiple huge investigations.

People who question how Sanders' economic plans would work are the same people who aren't hesitant about Annoying Orange spending tens of billions of dollars to build a dumb, useless border wall and certainly don't care about the $600 billion we spend annually on our military to build fighter jets and tanks that don't do anything.

Nope, we can't spend all this money on education, job growth, the environment, infrastructure, but we sure as hell can go for walls and endless war.
job growth isn't something you just funnel money into and see improvement.

How exactly do you propose to spend money on the environment? The "environment" (I'm going to interpret this as climate change unless you specify) isn't something that we fully understand, let alone can spend money to "fix" it. The most we understand is that there's a correlation between human activity and atmospheric carbon levels, and a correlation between atmospheric carbon and increased global temperature.

We don't know anything conclusive about what exactly is causing the climate to change and whether humans can do anything to stop or reverse it, and pretending otherwise is naive. Climate science and geoscience as a whole is very inconclusive on a lot of processes and what causes them i.e. plate tectonics because at the end of the day, things happen on too large of a scale over too long of a period of time for us to have any conclusive data.

tl;dr The earth HAS been getting slightly warmer during the holocene, but we have no clue whether or not it's normal or whether we're somehow loving stuff up, and if it's the 2nd option, we don't know if we can even do anything about it at this point.

oop

also I'll take a billion-dollar wall that may or may not work over a financially impossible system that would crash day one thank you

This is completely false, but I don't blame anybody for not knowing with all the misinformation that's been out there. Climate scientists have known for decades the exact mechanisms behind climate change, it's only now that people have begun to listen.

You can take a look at this to see all the different contributions and exactly how they add up to line up perfectly with what we observe (In an extremely beautiful graph): https://www.bloomberg.com/graphics/2015-whats-warming-the-world/
It includes sources and information about how the data was gathered and put together at the bottom of the page. It is 100%, without a doubt, unquestionably us causing global warming.
If you want to get educated on the subject, this is a great read on the subject that covers all the relevant information collected together by decades of research by climate scientists. 100% free. http://www.ccrc.unsw.edu.au/sites/default/files/Copenhagen_Diagnosis_HIGH.pdf

it's known but again, not definitively proven. Climate science is entirely valid, but it's very difficult to prove hypotheses in geoscience due to the relative difficulty of obtaining data. To prove a multi-million year process, it's difficult to collect enough data, esp due to geomorphic/tectonic processes moving or entirely destroying a lot of the rock record.

aren't we close to being able to artificially combat climate change

The one where socialism failed

i will not be satisfied until every single american tax dollar is spent on the military. it's the only way to ensure lasting peace and security for our country.

Cultural and identity death of a country is in my mind a valid threat.
Does it scare you at all that someday, you'll wake up and be the tribal grandpa? The one who people dread to invite to Thanksgiving dinner because you drop comments like these?

People say this stuff literally every single time that a western nation gets a wave of immigration. They did it with blacks, they did it with the Germans/Irish, they did it with Hispanics, and they did it with the Chinese. All of these groups, despite cultural differences, have managed to find their own ways to assimilate into our society. The exact argument about 'refusal to assimilate' and 'death of culture/identity' has been used every single time immigrants show up in history, and it is always wrong. Statistically speaking, it was probably used against your own ancestors at one point in time. And yet every single time, it's bullstuff.

Nobody's culture and identity is dying. If you want to eat pork and worship Jesus, you will always be able to do that in the United States. But what won't stand is letting people be subjugated solely because of their religion or race. If that's the 'cultural identity' you want to protect, then I hope we kill the stuff out of it.

For what it's worth, it's 100% true that socialism and communism are broken economic systems that can't work. But Sanders-style socialism isn't socialism in the real sense of the word. It's public control over key industries which don't really work well enough when governed by market principles. We've done this in the past and it hasn't caused our government to collapse a-la Venezuela.
