I'm really sad that everyone I ask knows about Minecraft and what it is, but no one I've ever met knew what Blockland is. Most people I know play Minecraft, and haven't even heard of Blockland, even though Blockland is infinitely better.
Blockland isn't infinitely better.
Otherwise there would be no Blocklander that stated playing Minecraft, which is not the case.
Minecrafts survival mode is very solid. Especially if you add a bunch of modpacks to it.
This is something Blockland doesn't have, which some players will not like.
But for those Minecrafters who play a lot of minigames like spleef and zombie survival, they would love Blockland if they came into contact with it.
And those builders and redstoners would also have the time of their life with Blockland.
New players have quite a different experience here, it takes 5+ minutes to download thousands of files from servers. This is the first thing they see after purchasing the game.
I'm pretty sure it could be made like 10-20 times faster.
Couldn't peer to peer be used to send files? Everyone on the server would send you the files at the same time.
So the more the server is populated, the faster the downloading will be.
