Author Topic: This what Feminism is supposed to be  (Read 8354 times)

Bossy was never exclusive to females only. It represents any gender.
However, bossy is usually used to describe a female who is in charge but tends to be a little too assertive. I've never heard bossy used on any males before.

In fact, most dictionary sources use bossy in a sentence with a feminine object/subject being referred to

Also all words can be used on any person and aren't specific to a group. However, the frequency in how they are used is what is angering feminists

I wish I could prove that men get called bossy too but it seems like Google just wants to spin it 180 degrees on me.

They used "bossy" because they knew they couldn't market "ban bitchy"

This is what they claimed but I'm not really sure if it's true or not. This is one of those appeal to emotions things that everyone who is in favor of the assertion seemingly have personal experience with it.

Maybe you haven't heard bossy used to describe a male before because you just haven't heard it? What is that supposed to change or mean in a scientific sense?

One of the people that was apart of the ban bossy campaign also freely uses the word "bitch" in her music videos.

"Bossy" is something a child would say. The whole foundation of the campaign is a joke.

Real talk here though, why would an apparently strong female leader in any industry be upset over being called bossy? Being tough and no-nonsense earns lots of people flak, having thick skin is just part of the job.

That whole campaign would have helped nobody, only made to appease the fanatical morons behind the campaign who invented a problem.

truth

Because the feminists believe the patriarchy is real and it starts with our children.

Anyone who preaches of any sort of patriarchy just needs to be disregarded. They don't have any real grasp of how modern society works. Yes, there are more males in leader position than females. This isn't the core underlined issue, but rather a symptom of a larger, more philosophical reason.

To simply put it, a lot of your fanatical feminists don't put enough time or effort into figuring out how the world around them ticks and rather settles on more idealistic beliefs such as the patriarchy because it's a much easier 'issue' to tackle and it feeds into this victim narrative we hear so much about.

My biggest issue with the matter is that anyone with these said ideals end up doing themselves more harm than good and they're completely oblivious to this. Not only are these people going to end up alienating themselves from society based off of a fundamental misunderstanding, but there are some individuals who are going out of their way to attack people based on these misunderstandings.

Haven't feminist already admitted their cause is worthless though? There was a video somewhere with an actual feminist, an actual supported of fair and equal rights and a HUGE understanding of double standards admitted that these so called "feminists" were just jumping the bandwagon because they could at the time.

Because every basic right that was fought for was already given to them.

They are just fighting for opinions now. It's now loveist to not date a fat girl and you are fat shaming them and feeding the patriarchy. stuff like that is what they are fighting for now. It's not going anywhere. They don't want to admit there is no more real issues left (excluding third world countries which they ignore.)
