Well yeah, that's what we, the West, would like to do.
But it's naive to think that China, and Russia, are going to let the land of one of their communist allies be completely absorbed into the West.
Not once has guerilla warfare been implemented in the US military since the days of the American Revolution and whenever the US was met with guerillas from there, it was always with disaster on their side.
Well that's because the US hasn't been invaded since the Revolution.
You can't use Guerilla Warfare as an invading army, because it is a purely defensive strategy. It's a case of hiding and doing hit and run tactics.
You can't do that if your aim is to take land away from someone else, particularly if it's not your native land that you know how to use.
