Joint assets are what internation cooperation is built on. For example joint programs for border patrol etc. Just know that liquidating those means halting cooperation.

there were some cooperative businesses that operated within North Korea with people commuting to them from the South. DPRK is closing off the South's access to them and taking them for themselves.
