Thanks to your hard work, I just received this email which I'm sure is a completely legitimate business opportunity

Hi there,

My name is Dylan and I'm a writer for Fueled.com. I came across your article here: http://forum.blockland.us/index.php?topic=266963.15, and I thought it was great.

However, I noticed that you're linking to: http://howmuchtomakeanapp.com/ on the cost of making an app. Our company has a really extensive article on the subject that has gotten about 20,000 views in the past few months. I think your readers would really get a lot from it.

Here's a link to our article post, https: //fueled.com/blog/how-much-does-it-cost-to-develop-an-app/

Would you be willing to switch the link from their article to ours? Or if not, maybe you could add our article as further reading? I would really appreciate it!

Cheers,

Dylan

Wow, Badspot! Great article, keep it up, proud of you!

Is he targeting everyone that has ever linked http://howmuchtomakeanapp.com/ and advertising his article? lol

dylan would have better luck on /b/

why does he want you to switch the link lmao

why does he want you to switch the link lmao

direct traffic from the current website being posted to his

$$$$ ad revenue

Mailbag seems a little more spammy this time.

Seems a little shady, to be honest.

Totally not a bot that is advertising a site to have the creator get ad revenue. Or even, the site might have a virus on it.

bot - advertising - getting ad revenue - virus

a natural progression of things to come

Wow you better not miss this opportunity.

I'm guessing he is using reverse image search on his competitors images, running a whois check for the domain name and sending the emails that way. If they're good they have some, if not all of it automized.
