this is the kind of stuff that grows from apocalyptic prophecies. And this will keep happening for other reasons other than specifically 2012. I can't respect people who perpetuate this. I am paranoid. These types of things ruined YEARS of my life. They still do.

… am a teacher and my 3rd graders are hearing about this - A small child is talking about how if its ending, and why she shouldn't just end it now. This isn't anywhere close to funny any more.

I have a 7 year old that happened to see a documentary on the history channel that scared him so bad, that he became depressed and began to question the meaning of life. He is 7 years old. This nonsense is scaring our children - it must stop immediately. I found this website and tried the best I can to explain to him it was all a hoax.

I hate fearmongers and doomsayers. There are so many of them on the internet and in real life. I hate them and I can't express HOW much I even hate them because they are stuff. It's stuff like what GSF posted that ruined my childhood. I mean for forget sake why would you defend this guy? Can I say something completely asinine and destructive but it's okay if it's religious? forget you.

According to my prophecy, the boogieman will arrive the year 2020 to wreak havoc on all the non-beleivers, effectively suffocating them in their sleep. Or in otherwords, Squiddy... "boo"
