where is the list

let me pick and choose

if thats the case then i probably couldn't be friends with someone who takes their transgender too seriously
That's also fair, since you can associate with whoever you want. But I have to ask whether 'taking gender seriously' is actually unrelatable to you.

If you were in some kind of weird Twilight Zone kind of fiasco, and everyone all of a sudden started calling you a she, would you honestly just shrug it off?

the list of genders?

I don't like any of these can I make my own

If you say so, but most people who are born into that kind of situation don't just shrug it off. At least not for their entire life.

be careful what you not wish for

you might just jinx yourself and feel yourself entering a strange place that just might have the name of

the twiligth zone

i dont understand where your getting at but i mean if every other guy was still "he" but im being called a "she" yeah that would upset me because i'm physically a dude.

If you are male/female I guess you would expect to called so

as in, if you wake up someday in twilight zone fashion and
everyone calls you by the pronouns opposite of your love gender (if you're male everyone is calling you a "she")

You don't understand what I'm getting at here? What if everyone also expects you to start wearing female clothes and the like? Are you telling me that your own gender expression wouldn't take a pretty big priority in your life at that point?

I don't actually have any problem with presuming that people's identities will match their love. It works for the vast majority of people, and the only other alternative is the super New Age-y, SJW approach to parenting that tries to paint all children as gender-neutral by default. No thanks.

idk if i can blame people for not understanding trans stuff in general because that's the status quo. unless you experience it yourself or you know someone who experiences it, i don't think it's very easy to actually get what it's like or why that's the way people are. it's hard for me to imagine, but clearly a lot of people have the traditional view of things so deeply ingrained that it's legitimately difficult to actually understand and i can get that. maybe some people call that common sense but it's not a completely irrational situation, it's just what they know. my only issue is when people try to assert themselves over others without trying to understand each other, and that's a general human problem that can apply to both sides

I thought gender was a social construct

I thought gender was a social construct

Where did he imply that it wasn't?

Where did he imply that it wasn't?
The usual feel I get is that gender is """""a social construct""""" so I can change it when ever I want
