would probs be cool to see a poll that's a bit more specific in asking whether people are economically left/right and socially left/right

cus most people in america consider themselves to be conservative, but in reality are actually socially conservative and economically liberal. of course, that's using american scope, but american politics tend to be shifted to the right a little by default it Seems and also our understandings of "liberal" and "conservative" seem to confuse a lot of foriegn people

i'm definitely socially liberal, but economically i guess i tend to be a bit more conservative in some ways. overall i'm Liberal if we're just talkin left/right
