To be honest, this game is kind of the game i wanted in all my video game life but it was executed poorly.

I wanted a game where you were in space and could do anything you want. I wanted to become a space overlord, explore planets, make a powerful starship, ally with a faction/make an empire, Survive in space.

The things that are in the game are executed poorly. For 70$ canadian this game is way too overpriced.

I prefer playing Star Control II instead.

Hype causes this kind of stuff to happen to games.

Apparently there's two different unused Half Life 2 logos in the game's files

So what if, now hear me out, what if... you get to the center of the universe, and you are secretly applied to participate in an eventual private beta test for Half Life 3??????

gabe newell you are a genius

I love the game but that's because I never saw any single pre-release footage of it.

So I guess the only people that hate the games are the people who got hyped up on pre-release footage lol.

It's your own fault watching pre-release footage without thinking stuff would change in the final product.

You also can't sue them because they slap "PRE-RELEASE FOOTAGE" everywhere.

Right in the loving disclaimer.

i've said this many times and i'm going to say it again
hype kills
hype leads to expectations that the final game almost never fulfills
and people get disappointed because their expectations were never met

I don't believe in hype, I refuse.

I love the game, I never seen any pre-release stuff or got hyped. I'm doing fine.

I did watch some pre-release stuff because I want to see why people are mad. Yeah I see how stuff is different but again it's your own fault for getting hyped.

No
it's the developers fault for charging 60 bucks for a half ass early release title.
