The fact that people are unkillable in bethesda RPGs shows how depth the world/story is.

I'm sorry, you must've just suffered a massive aneurysm. Could you say that again?

Some in the comments believe that keeping a database of names eats up a lot of memory, even if it is just text data.
People will make up any imaginary problem, wont they?

I wonder if it's a coincidence that the discovery expiry is the same amount of time you have to refund.

it was apparently just a temporary issue that got resolved:

im seeing all over the Internets that steam is giving refunds for game. even if you are beyond X hours play.

some of you should go for it. get some 60 bucks.

Just mention about the false advertising and the false promotional items (pleonasm but yeah) crap.

Done that
Isnt the refund process mostly automated and auto denies when you have over 2 hours?

yeah normally but i heard people are making this work anyways. likely steam knows the mess but dont wanna make it to public how you can refund, or a mass of people will all do it (that will happen anyway)
thats why you do it sooner then later before steam cuts you off.

give a sob story about how you were waiting for launch with your friend at a lan party all excited, to find out you have a single player game that you burned through the content in about an hour.

Couldn't the developers sue steam then because steam is breaking their own legal policy.

Clear violation lol.

hello games used clever language like "you can land on asteroids at the moment." so technically they never said some features would be available at launch, just at the moment. it's stuff, yes, but it's not false advertising.

nope

The developers owe everyone an apology for promising a game but making a colorful walking/flying simulator

Uh, no. Do you know what their policy is? Because there is no legally-binding text for it. They can offer refunds whenever they want. Don't talk out of your ass, tony.
