Author Topic: What would you like to see in a racing game?  (Read 1631 times)

Once I get my computer fixed, I want to focus on a project of mine which is a racing game, I've already talked about it a couple of times on this forum but I won't give much detail this time because I want to know what would you guys like to see in a racing game that is supposed to pack a lot of content and replayability (just avoid things like mario kart and cars with guns pls)

The only things I want to point out about it that, it might be open world, and it's planned to be a MMORPG kind of game, you level up, unlock new races to do and new parts, and in-game currency to buy parts and cars, sorta like forza horizon works which also allows you to play singleplayer.

randomized maps
a forgetton of car customization

randomized maps
a metric assload times seventy of car customization
Ftfy
Don't forget map creation

super cool stunt areas/maps with loops and ramps and stuff

a sense of humor to some extent
as much as I appreciate serious driving games, the market's pretty saturated, and there's little you can do for innovation other than cars from more companies

arcade style racing like midnight club 2

MAXIMUM SLIPPERYNESS AND DRIFTING

The greatest level editor known to man kind.

We're talking about beyond Trackmania.

Herbie.

(I might be the only one who knows about him ;_;)

Toyota Trueno 86

Naw but really I love trackmania particularly for map creation, I don't have many other racing games so I don't know if there are any other games with notable map creation, but I'd love to see more map creation in future racing games.

real, yard for yard highways/roads (or the ability to import maps/tracks for the same result)
built, not bought style car list
actual customization holy stuff

tons of cars maximum in a race at once, at least in singleplayer
games that can do that are pretty fun

some decent customization, aesthetic and practical
