Agriculture increases, and Christianity becomes more powerful as one of the heads of state converts to Christianity.

Gifts of pottery and bronze are sent to the friendly tribes with diplomats to establish relations, guarded by small amounts of pekhota to protect from bears.
The tribes accept and open up to communication.  They request that comprehensive translation occur before they agree to any kind of alliance, however, with the knowledge that they arrived from a faraway land and speak a very unfamiliar language.

-snip-
The closest tribes by aforementioned relations accept without reservation.  Those who are more financially challenged agree under the conditions that they receive funding (sometimes quite substantial) from the League to assist in making the incorporations more feasible.

The friendly rimlands tribes disagree, despite their favor of the League.  One tribe secretly cites that their more powerful neighbors who have been conducting the raids have them under subjugation.  They would rather not risk their destruction for a potentially beneficial partnership.

Scouts are sent to the west and southwest, each with a warband of 1,000 men.
The southwest expedition encounters a warlord settlement and attacks it.  The warlord's forces flee after half of its force is wiped out.  Moderate losses are incurred on the warband, however, spoils of another foreign country are found.

The western exploration group finds rolling plains with some wild cattle and some very small tribes.

I don't usually interfere in these requests, but I just want to warn you beforehand that you will not be able to sustain much in the way of population there.

The Erinamese-led Ežbátan coalition manages to rope in a couple more minor clans.  They call their confederal alliance the Coalition of the Crest.

Erinamese research shifts towards towards better metalworking and training it's soldiers.  Ženia is particularly devoted to the task.

Kyrvan linguists and scholars get to work translating their language into the local dialects, both spoken and written.

The southwest is expedition is to bring their findings to the capital to be looked at by Alardian scholars.
The western group should ask the tribes to join the nation, and to settle the lands once they accept. If they don't accept, settle the lands anyway, but keep high guard.

Belanese efforts to maintain regional power through both diplomacy and force increase as a result of Erinaum's growing influence.
Erinamese metalworking development bears no major and immediate fruits, although it seems probable that they will in future.
Military training goes slowly at first, but picks up rapidly once folks get in the groove.

The Avalonian Council calls for formalizing and centralizing the military forces of the nation.  This is, at present, a tall order, as there are very few professional warriors, and the militia forces throughout the land are mostly loyal to their clan chieftain, not the Council.  Many Chieftains are reluctant to surrender military control to the Council.  As a result, the Council musters as many professional warriors as it is able, and begins to train a small central army, with the intent of breaking it up to act as lieutenants to Chieftains, that there might be an officer to whom the troops are loyal, and who is directly loyal to the Council.

Work begins upon formalizing the arrangements into a very real unification offer, rather than  a mere hypothetical idea. Subsidies will be given to those in need of help,

The League understands, and does not press these outer tribes further on the subject.

Warriors are sent to take and expand their borders further around the range of the mountain(s) in the hopes of using the peak of the mountains as a point of surveying the surrounding area for cartography purposes.

Some gifts are sent to the elders of the western tribes as they're coaxed into joining Byartalena: Furs, corn beer, helmets and shields, and one is even given a (mostly) domesticated Kodkod, while the most influential of them is sent a warrior with some of the most excellent martial prowess that Byartalena has to offer as a personal guard.

The northern coastal people of the Garou are given orders to begin attempts to come up with and build plentiful amounts of the optimal design for a war ship they can come up with, with the hopes of setting off the explore the ocean and loot any settled coasts they come across.

Some other warriors gather to head south and raid and enslave people from the southern tribes, to try and bring fortune back to the homeland- razing what they can't take back with them.

Byartalena: The western tribes are duly impressed with the gifts they receive, and clearly wish to collaborate in future.  To the South, however, Byartaleni soldiers are unable to defeat local tribesmen and are forced back with no loot but surprisingly few casualties.  [NPC : 6/10 → +1]
Gœðalaussland: Nearby tribes are showing increased receptiveness to diplomacy.  [NPC : 6/10 → +1]

Neslait: Many of Nesalt's intellectuals flee elsewhere, displeased with the outcome of the local power struggle.  Many take what they can of their work, including entire centuries of the nation's recorded history.  [DEV : 1/10 → -4]
Avalonia: A favorable growing season produces a large population boom in the region.  [POP : 7/10 - DOUBLE: 9/10 → +2 DOUBLE +4]
Kyrvan: A once lowly Prince has risen to prominence among the Princes' Council through his cunning and underhanded political means, including, many suspect, the murder of several of his rivals.  His power among the people and the Council is beginning to rival that of the Grand Prince, and Prince Kazimir, expecting civil war, is raising an army.  [POL : 1/10 → -4]
Confederal Grand League: The Trading Company's activity has brought back a number of methods for farming, forging, and mining that the League has not previously employed, but appear to have the potential to increase production in these fields significantly.  [DEV : 9/10 → +4]
Arlien: Settlers are able to construct enough shelter and farm enough food to more than make ends meet.  [POP : 6/10 → +1]

As civilized society develops on the island, boats are created in an intent to see if there are other islands out there.

King Osto the Great now sits soundly upon the throne in Valtaistuin, having united the many clans and tribes of Vlast under one banner. The benevolent king turns his attention to projects regarding the nation, starting with 'roads,' more akin to dirt paths through the forests large enough to guide multiple beasts of burden through. Valtaistuin receives the most benefit from this project, as its infrastructure could scarcely handle its large population.

Seeing this tragedy, the government attempts to find new scholars to replace the ones lost. A memorial is built at the site of the fire, and some people are contracted to work on a new meeting place.
