All laws in science are only theory until proven wrong.
While they're supported by very, very strong evidence, and said theories usually produce very accurate if not perfect results. There's always a possibility of being wrong.
Especially the law of gravity.
Laws are mathematical models (if x, then always y). Gravity is one of these because it can be
modeled mathematically.Theories are verbal models (when this happens, this almost always happens). Heliocentrism is one of these because it provides an explanation that holds up to observations (the earth goes around the sun and nothing save actually physically changing that will make it untrue)
Hypotheses are untested models (I think that when this happens, this will probably happen). Some of these will forever remain hypotheses, particularly in mathematics, if they cannot be proven or tested, such as "there are infinite prime numbers".
Sorry for the off-topicness, I just thought this needed to be said.
On topic:
You can't see around the truck because it's so big.
Why would you get that close to the truck? Unless it's immobile bumper to bumper traffic, there should be room to switch lanes and pass.
Edit: oh right, thread title. Top part seems more on-topic, since I guess that's a thing that ticks me off.
