It's also illegal to drive slow in the fast lane here. The signs even say it causes accidents lol. The cops will turn their lights on and shove people into the middle lanes even if they're going 65 in a 55. Nobody's got time for that stuff.

So just because the cops can do it means you can do it? That's not the case at all and more than likely if a cop saw you pulling this stuff, you'd get ticketed for wreckless driving / road rage.

it's ok to be frustrated because traffic is slower than you think it should be, but you're still responsible for your own response to that frustration. if you rear end someone or slam into their side because you want to make a point that's definitely not their fault. they didn't force anyone to drive like a weenie boy

that being said, if everyone around you is going 60 even though the speed limit is 45, you should probably also go around 60. if you're getting mad because someone's going 65 in a 70 and you just want to go 75, i'd say that's pretty silly.

Have you ever even driven on an interstate before? Judging by your profile age you haven't, so you wouldn't know that it's basically universal driving language to get over a lane if someone comes up on you in the fast lane. There's no danger in it at all as long as the person has room to get over obviously. It becomes a danger when the car in back rides their ass for a long time or does it when the person in front has no room to get over. It puts everyone in a bad situation.

My number one piece of advice for drivers is to not put yourself or others in bad situations. That's the biggest cause of accidents.
