i watched the 100 min gameplay
visually its okayish, i guess
the town seems kinda empty and lacking of detail
character models are eh
cars all look like toys
the driving looks floaty and the physics aren't the greatest,
better than the first one (?) but this guy doesn't really go all out on testing them
every car has nitrous?
cars keep disappearing when hes controlling them?
he does very little with the hacking, does it not do anything else? just drive cars remotely, cameras and some doors?
the little he interacts with the enemy ai makes them seem real out of it
so was the police, who managed to lose him when he parked right on the edge of the helicopter spotlight
the pedestrians are kinda sparse, not that smart either, at a point he flips someone off outside a coffee house he is in
and a lady from somewhere behind him comes to yell his head off and everyone loses their stuff when he takes a loving selfie???
thematically the games kinda of a mess too, you're put in to this open world and given tools to do all kinds a stuff but in the story you're a part of some kind of an underground hacker group (but you level up or something by getting more followers?) where you're supposed to do good (guy was car jacking and running over pedestrians while the characters in-game were talking about how they easily come off as the bad guys going up against this all powerful mega corp and he just forged evidence against some random civ, had a hit man come and try and kill him, like wtf???)
they really try and sell this big brother story stuff so loving seriously but the story is just not made for this kind of open world experience they built around it
