well, you can certainly admit to some mistakes, but for the most part that's only going to apply when you're objectively wrong about some fact, or you were acting based on information you thought was true and wasn't
but if you're just, for instance, acting annoying, you may
say that you will stop, or whatever, but it's not going to happen. how often do you see people making apology threads and then actually following through? not very often. for the most part, when they say that, they're in the same frame of mind that they were before they did. so when they wind up acting the same way, they don't even notice (until someone says something), because they didn't think they were doing anything wrong to begin with
but anyway, this is all beside the point. your response to hypothetical situations doesn't really matter, because what I'm saying is that I just don't care how you feel. and unless you can give me a reason to care, I have no motivation to stop, because I'm having fun, and I'm not hurting anything
