Author Topic: Someone is hacking me?  (Read 4096 times)

So ever since i've got my stuffty Lenovo laptop  i've downloaded multiple viruses. My cousin just told me that I might be getting hacked. My laptop used to turn on by its self at night, and this happened about a month ago.

And my Yahoo has been hacked before, so the person that hacked my Yahoo might have been like "Lets hack his COMPOOTER since he logged us out of Yahoo"
I haven't noticed any changes in the way my computer functions. In fact, I used to get pop ups and they stopped. Like my computer looks pretty clean rn. Its just that I cant run high graphic games without it exploding with lag. They might have got my I.P address and figured out my location and is coming to murder me while I sleep.

H e l p ?

ouch dude, you're screwed. it's bad news if they get your IP. not only does it provide your exact location, but also your full name, address, birth certificate, and social security number. these are commonly distributed among mafia organizations for kidnapping and murder purposes.

have you run an antivirus scan?

yeah this is p true

they're on the way right now. you need to leave you house as soon as possible

Lol, they're messing with you. Badspot has your IP. IPs don't give out anything other than a way for you to connect to a server and the server to communicate with you. IPs tend to change after some months anyways. The only lcoation you can get from that is the location of your ISP.

I did at one point, with norton, but that was a long time ago.

the real problem here is that you got a Lenovo. lenovo is notorious for bundling spyware/bloatware with their computers. you shouldn't be surprised that you have viruses...

then do it again? or at least use something like avast or malwarebytes

If you have Windows 7 use ComboFix

If not then use CCleaner, MalwareBytes, and ADWCleaner.
