reportedly, it runs on a tegra x1
also, when undocked, the tegra gets underclocked quite a bit

well god damn there you go

You're crazy, right?

The Wii U version has the fog turned up to reduce the rendering stress of the scene as there's less visible polys, and the lighting is using a less accurate technique which is why the colours look so much more washed out and dull. There's also increased bump/normal mapping and I swear I could pick out higher resolution textures and wider LoD scales on the Switch version.

You guys are the first two people I've seen who thought the Wii U version was higher fidelity...that's crazy.
duno, at first look it seemed like the switch version had significantly downgraded texture and shader quality, but looking again it's probably just the fact that you can see it all better in the switch version. tho i definitely still thought it looked better on the switch once they got outside. in the dungeon i guess they just look different to me rather than better/worse, and i preferred the wii u's look from a watcher's point-of-view. i imagine while actually playing the game i'm going to appreciate being able to see what's in front of me though

yeah, i actually much prefer the Wii U visuals inside the cavern
all the graphical quality in the world can't beat a better style

however, the opposite is true outside

Mario kart 8 deluxe wont have new maps, from what i have heard
I don't know about any actual tracks but it does include new battle arenas (thank god) if you've seen the gameplay trailer. It also comes with the dlc from the wii u version.

I doubt that. That was 7 month old footage. People are still stuffting on the Wii U version because of those videos, glad you liked the Wii U footage, but its outdated.

To the people talking about underclocking: it ONLY happens when the switch is un-docked to improve its mobile battery life. When its docked, its clock speed is normal

It was incredibly wrong of me to enter the comment section of that video. A LOT of mouth-breathing handicaps being unnecessarily hostile towards the new console, likely because their troll brains are incapable of processing pleasant thoughts. I wonder if they were ever hugged as a child.

do some ppl rly think that the games shown in the presentation are the only games that are gonna be on the switch smh

By first scene I was referring to the cave sequence where the darker colors fit in better. Otherwise once Link steps outside the Switch reigns over the Wii U with it's better color tones and overall clarity.

EEEEOEOEOEOEOEOOEOEOOOO SO HYPE

why do people think a free game for a month is bad
maybe the subscription is super cheap so they cant just hand it to you

What if you're not actually paying for the online subscription? What if you're actually paying for the free monthly NES/SNES games?

Get mind blown!
