Author Topic: Nintendo Switch Presentation - January 12th  (Read 185903 times)

It was uploaded yesterday and it already has over one million views

Thats what I noticed too. Everything Nintendo related is hot stuff rn

Some of the worst comments I've ever read on a YouTube Gaming video, and once again it's from the "Gaming Is Getting Too Expensive Because I Don't Have a Job And Mummy Won't Give Me Any More Cash" crowd.

It just kills me. You try your hardest to make something cool, and a pool of forgetwits will do everything in their power to make life a living hell for your supporters. I could understand if this was post-release and the Switch under-delivered, but this is pre-release with everybody who has demoed the Switch saying that they like it, and just want some more games.

It's really clear that 90% of these wankers are legitimate PCMR cunts who are frustrated with their own experience and need to take it out on who they feel is the "lowest common denominator". It's the same reason why whenever we get survey data that shows statistics for gaming by love, class and so forth, the same handicaps throw a massive stufffit because apparently mobile gaming "doesn't count", even though most mobile games are just as complex, if not moreso, than a lot of the games you can pickup on Steam today.

Wankers.

In my personal opinion I see the Switch as a very unique hybrid console that can be a success, yes it is expensive but that always happens on the launch of a console, and we all know that after a while they start to get cheaper, I don't understand all of this hate, the console is not even out yet, yes half of the presentation in january 12 was underwhelming and uninteresting weeaboo bullstuff, but even Nintendo themselves announced that more games will be revealed along the way, there is a lot of room for potential, and even rumours of a full Pokémon game, that could be a huge hit and it could boost the sales of the console, but we have to wait and see, also, atleast it's not called Wii S or something so it won't happen the same mistake as it did with the Wii U on it's earlier stages, with a bunch of people still thinking that the tablet controller is an accessory for the normal Wii.

I think the video is a great video showing what most people think of the newly announced Mario game.
If you pay more attention however, i think it is nothing like a GTA kinda game (free roam/sandbox?) but just like a level/world on Earth.
A strange thing they decided to use models more closely to real humans rather then well you know, maybe the mii's?
I think a world full of mii's would have been a better more interesting idea, but we'll see what it is like when it is released.

  • Both have a frame rate of 30fps.
  • On a TV, the Nintendo Switch version of the game renders in 900p while
unacceptable

I've seen a total of ONE comment stuffting on Nintendo while the rest are either people complaining that the video is somehow bashing the Switch and the new Mario game or people complaining about people fighting in the comments.

the "Gaming Is Getting Too Expensive Because I Don't Have a Job And Mummy Won't Give Me Any More Cash" crowd.
