i really don't think it's any deeper than a throwaway historical reference semi-awkwardly plopped in to try and add clarity
i wouldn't have remembered that the voting literacy tests originated in the south if he didnt include that part

The ratio of handicaps to regular people is almost exactly the same no matter what city or rural suburb you go to. It's a proportion that stays true to any human population unless they're located in a high pollution or unsafe environment

Cities have more handicaps because they have more people, not because cities are handicapped.

i wouldn't have remembered that the voting literacy tests originated in the south if he didnt include that part
dude... that's basic american history 101... democrats in the south post-civil war era wanted to stop blacks from voting, and their so-called literacy tests, combined with the grandfather clause, were their means of doing that.

i'm supposed to be the dumb christian southerner here. come on.

i took us history 2 years ago and dont remember a damn thing from it

Planr your arguments always start strong then slowly go down the tubes

well it was the first result i got on youtube for searching for people taking the literacy test, so get mad at their search algorithm, not me.

plus just because he's an atheist doesn't mean he can't make valid arguments. thats ad hominem fallacy.

i used to watch armored skeptic a lot myself.

You're a big fat straw man. I didn't say it was a sin to post a video from an atheist, i said its a sin to post a video from Amazing Atheist, one of the worst channels on youtube in my opinion.

I've watched a ton of TJ's videos and they're honestly just a waste of bandwidth

ok ill grant you i didnt watch it, i assumed he actually tried to take the test. lol
