Turkey accepts Spanish support and mobilizes against Greece; the international community condemns the war as unjustified Greek aggression.

retaking constantinop is very important. this is reparation

The Greek military moves through the eastern border and travels to Istanbul, meeting opposition- they begin to sally forth if any soldiers, and siege the city.

The US requests UN support in South Korea.

The USSR proposes to the UN that the People's Republic of China be seen as the true entity of China.

the PRC backs this

The UK agrees to not veto the proposal made by the USSR if they do not veto the proposal made by the US.

real smh

I am going to say that the war between Greece + USSR and Turkey (minor support from Spain) is not intent to believe Greece is politically inclined to Communist views. This is a land grab and interest in lost/relative territory that could be beneficial to both of our states.

Believe what you will, but we still oppose the Balkan States for the civil war we had, as well aware that we are still recovering.

The UK agrees to not veto the proposal made by the USSR if they do not veto the proposal made by the US.
unacceptable. neither side should be supported by the UN. i will boycott the UNSC if necessary.

Events of Late 1950

Events with an asterisk and colored nation name require immediate action.

The United Nations Security Council: The Korean War
The debate has begun in the United Nations over how to handle the Korean War. The Security Council - consisting of the Big 5 plus six temporary, rotating members (currently Yugoslavia, Ecuador, Egypt, India, Norway, and Cuba) is debating a resolution that would:
1. Acknowledge that the invasion is an aggressive breach of peace by North Korea;
2. Demand that North Korea immediately cease aggressive actions;
3. And authorize a UN force, led by the United States, to oppose North Korea.

Bloody Gulch Massacre
After a very successful attack on two undefended US Artillery Battalions that killed or wounded hundreds of US troops, members of the North Korean People's Army executed seventy-five captured US Army prisoners of war, considered a war crime.
Hill 303 Massacre
In a terrifying repeat of the Bloody Gulch massacre, North Korea has shot forty-one US prisoners of war.
Communist Riots in Berlin
A series of pro-communist riots have erupted in Berlin, mirroring similar riots in Paris.
Battle of Ichon
The United States has launched an amphibious invasion of Korea; although it resulted in extremely heavily casualties for the United States, it was a strategic victory for the United States, recapturing Seoul.
Anti-British Riots in Egypt
Riots have erupted in Egypt in opposition to British influence and dominance over the region.
The First Indochina War
The Viet Minh has attacked French bases in Indochina, supported by Laos. France has sent an expeditionary force to suppress the rebellion.
The Greco-Turkish War
Greek forces have crossed into European Turkey, while the USSR invades from the east. Rumors are abound that ideologues both in the Soviet government and in their communist allies are extremely discontent with the Soviet-Greek alliance, as Greece is a right-wing, anti-communist government supported by the West. Additionally, during the conferences of World War II, the Soviet Union agreed not to intervene in Greece; and the international outrage of a nuclear power invading its neighbor seemingly for land only is immense.
Battle of Kesan
Although the Greeks took the Turkish Army by surprise, the fact of the matter is that Greece faces a massive numerical disadvantage (before considering the USSR), with a population difference of 7M to 20M. Additionally, the Greek Army is disorganized and weakened after the Greek Civil War, and were defeated in Kesan, west of Istanbul.

updated manpower: 52,500
turkish manpower: 250,000
soviet union (overall:) 2mil

Assuming most of the war is going to be on the Armenian Front, the Greeks pull back some of their forces to the border for defense and allocating their military.

37,000 manpower is now dedicated to the war, while the rest is going to be in reserve. The armies are put on the border and helping land breaching ect.

The PRC, although disapproving of the relations with Greece, supports the USSR in their decisions.

More troops and supplies are sent to North Korea to aid further in the war effort.

France, and many other Western European countries, sharply attack the Soviet invasion of Turkey. Capitalists cite it as an example of communist aggression, while social democrats see it as blatant land-grabbing against a progressive, secular country. Although Greece is in the Western sphere of influence, politicians seem to have no kind words for them either.

Egypt and India abstain from the UNSC resolution. France, Nationalist China, Cuba, Ecuador, and Norway vote in favor.
