You really don't know what you're talking about but ok

He's joking, dude.

You really don't know what you're talking about but ok

I went to 3 private schools and 2 public schools in 3 countries. You probably failed lunch.

"Psssh, I actually paid to go to grade school unlike you middle class scum. Watch my bow tie spin."

After school programs are designed to keep students at school while their parents are at work.  In other words, keep them off of streets and out of trouble.  Expect a ride in gang activity.

90% of public education is teaching kids that white people and conservatives are evil
my classes were mostly stuff like calculus, physics, and instrumental music, but ok

I started working part time in 5th grade to account for my education fees because I'm not a lazy bernie bum who wants everything for free

What are you talking about, Seventh, don't you know every core class in public schools has been replaced by gender studies and Intro to Sharia Law?

Good to know, dude. I mean, I actually worked hard in my public education to get good grades, instead of you who goes to for-profit private schools and pretends to be better than all those entitled freaks who can't afford the same amenities as you.

"You get what you pay for"

Why are we paying top dollar for illiterate black teachers? lol

I saw a couple people talking about homeschooling earlier. Homeschooling isn't that good of an alternative to public schools unless there's strict policies to ensure children are getting a proper education. Things like mandatory comprehension tests at the end of every semester and programs to assist parents in being able to afford schoolbooks and educational tools that have some form of quality control by the federal government (to avoid the stuffty christian-baptist schoolbooks that don't teach stuff)

I've seen one too many people get forgeted over from homeschooling due to lax study times, lax laws and shoddy teaching. They started their life insecure and unsure of their academical prowess with a diploma that is seen as a stigma in a lot of the workforce. It really just isn't worth it, in the long run.

That's home schooling.

We all know homeschooling is 1 big safe space.

Yeah, homeschooling tends to be a one-stop-shop for sheltering your precious white, good christian boy/girl from the evils of liberal public education. Then you end up with socially handicapped half-savants who have no idea what grade they're in, and are probably a year or two behind on their mathematical skills.

You say that like gender studies isn't a mandatory requirement in education now. Intro to Sharia Law (Islamic Studies in non-liberal strawman terms) is next.

Who's acting better than anyone else? You said I didn't know what I was talking about but ironically enough I have more experience with education archetypes than you do.

The vast majority of public education funding goes directly into the pockets of higher education administrators anyway. The actual kids going to public school probably wont even be noticeably affected.

That's kinda like what happened to my friend. He got homeschooled, and he asked me once to quiz him for a science test. I found out he was using one of those Creationism-lite textbooks that was like "actually evolution can't be proven by the scientific process so it's not true", and I didn't say it to him but it actually kinda disgusted me knowing he's not ever really gonna have a clear picture on evolution and scientific reasoning in general.

So yeah, homeschooling sucks ass.
