how do you guys think we could get more people to play blockland?

Ok, this isn't a blockland-is-dead post, (if you couldn't tell), i'm just thinking... Is there a way we could get more people to play Blockland?, like, I know in the summer, all the kiddies are out of school, and can play it.

The only reason to keep playing the game is the servers. The best thing we could do to breath life into the game would be to spend time making interesting gamemodes, builds, DMs, etc. There are still lots of great creators in the community, they just need to be rallied into doing community projects.

Also the forum is pretty hostile and politically polarized and not much else. A few steps towards changing that would be to have Lord Tony banned, and for everyone else to consciously change their behavior to be more positive and less divisive.

lord tony isn't hostile at all, disagreeing with his post content and beliefs isn't a reason for him to be banned. Pretty hypocritical to say everyone should change to be yelling for someone to be banned for no reason while saying everyone else should be "more positive and less divisive."

I didn't say he was hostile. And it's not because I disagree with his beliefs. It's just that he's one of only a few people on the forum dictating what people talk about, by and large. And the way he goes about that is not good for the forum.

This is a private platform and Badspot can do whatever he wants with it. Banning Tony would simply be a quality of life change -  and as far as I know Tony's been banned enough before to warrant banning him forever. In general I think if you've had an account perma-banned you shouldn't get to buy your way back in.

Depends on the reason, badspot basically does only permabans now apparently because I said I was leaving off-topic for a while and got banned for it
I think that that should only apply from here on out

I feel like a few things need to happen:

1. people need to stop bitching and actually make good servers
2. a popular or semi-popular youtube/twitch personality plays blockland on one of these good servers
3. the good servers need to be kept open and new server ideas should be encouraged
