"Yeah, we got some time. We're booked for tonight, I'm sure. It's gonna be tomorrow."

The waiter arrives back as Norum get seated, handing out all the food items. "Alright, just ask if you need anything else, okay?"

Ryde takes his meal.

Sorry I didn't put this in the Discord, but I'm in vacation for the next two days.

"Right, yeah I'll work tomorrow," Daniel replied, and as his food was set in front of him, he shut up and chowed down.

"Great!"

"Anyone else?"

Norum picks up one of the sandwiches on his plate and begins munching down on it.

Ryde begins to consume his meal.

As Norum comes in, and explains the job, Ryde looks at Norum. "Yeah, sure.", he says plainly. "Make sure we're not shootin' up anyone like that gang.", he says with a smirk.

Norum looks around to see if anyone was looking when Ryde uttered that remark, and lowers his voice, "I'd be careful saying that if I were you. You can get away with that in Providence, but not here. The police actually give half a stuff in this part of town."

"That said, however, it shouldn't be necessary, but carry what security you deem proper to go from Guanli Point, Pig-Iron to Sharpton South.  It's a short route, but it takes us through Bay Bend."

(Yes I promise to elaborate on what these places are very soon.)

"That's all?" Daniel asked between bites of food, "Should we be expecting anything?"

"Yeah...", Ryde looks around the bar, then he looks back at Norum. "Sorry."

Ryde looks side-longed at Daniel, nodding at him in agreement. He then looks to Norum, saying "Yeah, whats to expect?"

Norum looks around one more time to see if anyone is paying attention.

When the coast is clear, he leans in,

"Alright, so here's what's up. My buddy, Dan, is a courier, a different kind than I am, but he does a.... li'l but of smuggling, see? So he had been irresponsible in the past and his boss wasn't happy with him in the first place. He makes some excuses, they turn out to b bullstuff...  You get the idea."

"Now his supplier had gone missing for two whole days. We gotta find him and make sure the delivery goes well, or else Dan's not only gonna be outta the job, but is set to be blacklisted in the area. Problem, well, is Dan is a tweaker and he forgetin' juiced himself into next week. There's a reward—his original promised payment to the tune of 19 grand."

Ryde leans in as Norum speaks, so he doesn't miss a word.

"Should I close the tab?" Elena asks, looking between the members of the group still at the table.

Rog hears the sound of something moving downstairs.

Amanda arrives at the location. The grocery store is an easy find, considering the plywood covering the point of entry of the group days earlier. Traffic on the roads is extremely sparse, and the area is not well lit. There is an that will lead to the back of the store, if Amanda should choose. There does not appear to be any activity within the store, or the others.

Daniel's eyebrow quirks at the mention of nineteen thousand dollars.  Split between three, even that would be enough to cover his bills for the next month or two.  He snapped out of it when Elena asks her question, quickly answering, "I won't be ordering anything else, thank you," and then turned back to Norum, "So we just gotta find the guy, grab the stuff, and take it where it needs to be?  Seems simple enough," he stopped, taking a bite from his entree, and wiping his mouth with a napkin.
"But we don't know what happened to the supplier.  They might have clapped him, sure, but what if they're holding him hostage?" he asked Norum, in a slightly hushed tone, so as to avoid attention from the surrounding tables.

Rog hears the sound of something moving downstairs.
Rog grumbles to himself and goes to investigate.

Norum looks over to Elena, "Yeah, I'm good. The night it too young."

And then turns his attention back to Daniel, hearing him out before responding, "Right. Dan's boss didn't accept the complication as a valid excuse, and wouldn't even call the guy. I did a job for him once—stubborn as a mountain. I don't think he'd be happy with us asking questions."

Norum lowers his voice further, "As far as the possibility of a hostage situation goes, I know nothing, and Dan knows nothing. But put frankly, it's a possibility. Arm yourself as you wish."

Daniel nods his head, taking another bite out of his plate.  "Alright," he mumbled with a mouth half-full of food.
