"No, I dont see anything... That's what scares me...", Ryde unsettle-y looks up at the skyscrapers above traffic, or any ledge that could let anyone spy over traffic, attempting to spot anyone spying them.

You see nothing.

"I don't like this..."

"Daniel. How are things for you?"

The both of you cross underneath the Hurdle. Traffic on the highway slows to a crawl. Overhead traffic in the sky ways is still moving quickly.

"Smooth sailing," Daniel replied, gliding easily through traffic toward his destination.

You cross the Salus border quickly, again unhindered.

Norum pauses and sighs after merging around a beat-up grey sedan. "Elena? Elena are you there?" The channels remain open for everyone in the group to hear.

The channel is silent for a few moments. Elena picks up.

"Need something?" she asks in a flatter tone than usual.

Ryde still looks intently around their vehicle, not trusting his senses for a second.

"Something feels off. We haven't noticed anyone try to follow us or stop us on all fronts. Our biggest problem has been a handful of irate drivers. I know you're no wizzard, but can you see if any video surveillance captures the outside of the Quo Branch Office we're heading to?"

You can discern nothing.

Elena's response is quicker.

"I probably won't be able to find any publicly available feed in time, if one exists at all, but I'll look,"

The line is quiet for the time being.

Hanging in the air, just off to the side of the highway and a hundred feet above hovers a Salus Police Department Skycar. It remains motionless in the air.

Dan continues unaccosted.

"Hey Ryde . . ."
"There's a police skycar at 1 O'Clock lateral and up maybe a hundred feet. Don't make eye contact."

Ryde does as he is told, shifting his jaw from side-to-side to pop it. "Is he shadowing us up there?"

"Not sure, but one thing that we don't wanna do is make us look up to no good—not that we are, we're only a decoy for something that we're only loosely a part of."

Ryde takes a long sigh, and relaxes.

Traffic moves you slowly along for ten or so minutes before the you both hear a police siren. A ring of laser points appears around the moped, and tightens around it. Up above, the police cruiser is holding you as the object of its attention. Its lights are flashing.

You adroitly dodge a bird, and are nearing the meetup location.

Ryde slips the suitcase on the seat, and acts like he is surprised, and looks up.

"Son of a bitch," mouths Norum. Though it takes some time moving over the packed, elevated portion of road, he pulls off the highway to the right and parks in a petrol station lot. He removed his helmet and waits for the police to arrive.

The police cruiser follows slowly. The station you arrive at is on the ground floor of a large skyscraper. The cruiser makes its way carefully in and sets down. Out climbs an Aurum Metrocop. He dawns a British Constable's checkered peaked cap and adjusts his sun glasses. He approaches the moped. His expression reveals nothing.

"Do you know why I've stopped you sir?" the cop asks, approaching Norum.

The cop speaks with the Salus' accent.

Daniel arrives at the location given, and is met with a medium sized high rise building, a mile or two from the bay. Parking is located at street level, with a garage in the basement of the structure.

You leave traffic and come in along the road, descending between the buildings. Holographic ads jump out at you. The street is busy, but not nearly as busy as the highway. Street parking is available, and the lobby doors seem to be open.

Salus is safe enough that you do not feel a revulsion to the thought of leaving your bike outside.

Ryde acts calm, looking over at Norum for his response.

"No, I don't. What seems to be the problem?" Norum, forgetting to turn the ignition off, turns the key counter-leverage to turn off the ignition, removing the key and removing it, clutching it in his hand and letting said fist rest on his leg.
