probably it's what chrome would do randomly depending on specs i assume, mine was already on when i installed it.

I turned it off at some point because running Chrome while using hardware acceleration would interfere with alt-tabbing on games using borderless window mode. It doesn't seem to be doing it any more so I'll just leave the setting on.

I remember turning it off cause it was causing me problems at one point for some reason. Can't remember why though.
It's on by default I believe.
