Got the avatar walk animation working in game! Now just need to figure out how to trigger the animation while moving the player, and how to make the camera / player head move independently of the animation.

Also, it wouldn't be overly difficult later on to allow the player's arms to bend using bones, if that's what y'all would prefer.

can i get uuhhh my players 🅱oneless

Well maybe that's just your ability, because I have no problems animating arms and objects being held.
so basically your justification for making a useless addition that will slow down all modding/development is that you, personally, are able to make mods with it included. Sounds like you should make your own game.

why dont we give them robot joints?

how about just no joints at all. in fact, no arms, no legs. just have a big ol rectangle with a nice ol face on it.

Why it's face is white?

reverse blocko face.
i dont know.

Are you seriously going to make a big production argument over arms? I offered my opinion based on my experience, if you don't like that, I don't know what to tell you.

I'm personally in favor of pushing away from blockland's avatar style just because it doesn't seem right to mimic it. That's like, my opinion. If you don't think I'm right, you can tell me why I should reconsider instead of this stupid passive aggressive peanut gallery nonsense

the true question is
why the forget is the bitch in your profile picture going loving crazy

dont talk about elaine that way

agreed
buddy if a player model having arms is your hangup for animating then I don't know what to tell you

I just don't get how animating arms is different and I wasn't understanding Conan's point, that's why I conceded. You're not really providing a great basis of argument here. If arms truly make animation harder, it's not a concept that's going to blow my mind, I've just had a different experience.

I'm safely betting that you're just trolling here since that's your shtick, and I'm the fool for responding. Unless that's not the case, it's best just to leave things here since I've said everything I thought of and you're not going to go anywhere here.

Why it's face is white?
That's just the color of the material that was included with the model, I'll update it later.
