Author Topic: Phanto's generic model dump  (Read 3965 times)

im probably quitting blockland at some point because i need to sort my life out and stuff. ill probably come back once i have everything in order. but for now, here's a dump of like 30 of my throwaway or unreleased models in .blend format

if you want to view them, open them in blender. most of them are export-ready with port's dts exporter in blender, so if you want you can turn it into a weapon pack or whatever. however, most of them lack a bounds cube so if you want bounds you need to manually add that in or somethin

if i have time (or if you have time) ((or someone else with time)) someone should compile an album with pictures of the models inside

here are 6 of the 35 models included in the dump

more people should post models so people that cant model for stuff can have something to use

Very useful, might make some weapon packs with these :D

yeah feel free to use these for whatever you want

Thanks fam. More futuristic guns and misc tools for the masses.

someone make addons out of this

that means they're actually good

i dont mean to complain but i dont understand why everyone adopted the t+t style as like the blockland norm

As somebody who also models I'd say it's because the style is relatively easy. You're working with really primitive shapes, so creating a model that looks good won't take you all week. On-top of that, it seems to appeal to the largest amount of people, and it usually fits with the blockhead well (this is otherwise tricky with realistically proportioned weapons), and also looks good when combined with the default player animations.

I'd say PhantOS's style is more towards the extreme side of the blocky style, I like it tho. I personally hate the higher poly/detailed/Blockality style because the guns look really flimsy and thin in the blockhead's hands
