no dude you gotta floor it. that way they can't tell who you are, or they don't live to tell anybody else.

tear down every confederate statue and replace it with a giant bionicle

pros: bionicles are cool as hell

cons: can't think of any

i think the reason people are especially upset about this is because of the moral grounding of it all. fighting because you feel like you're being systematically oppressed or sense impending political turmoil for yourself or others feels a lot different from fighting because you believe others to be inferior to yourself. whether or not in practice those are the actual ideologies at work is a debatable, but at the very least i think everyone can understand that those are the two basic motivations at play and that they're entirely different (ethically speaking) in the eyes of the majority
no one really paid attention to this so just quoting it as a form of agreement

apparently antifa dudes were smashing up car dude's ride right before he floored it

i dunno about justifiable but it seems that the car attack wasn't exactly unprovoked

I don't know if it's justifiable since he killed a woman but, if that's the case then I can understand why he tried to gun it out of there.

i don't think it can possibly make it any better for him even if it's true. deciding to gun it into a crowd of people is not a normal decision to make. and also remember that he wasn't doing it to get through, he charged into that crowd at full speed, and then backed out and ran off. he had every opportunity to just forget off and leave and instead he decided to run back in for the attack. i can't muster up any form of sympathy for that kind of person

Yes you are
"im trying to get home and these protesters have inconvenienced me. i am the judge, jury, and executioner and will inflict serious injury or death for this misdoing"

If I'm trying to get home and a bunch of protesters of any kind get in my way after I beep my horn and do such and such, I'm just going go through
Slowly, of course, but with conviction
If you can find a way around that's safe you should do that. Beyond that though I guess I could understanding stopping like 20 feet in front of them and going like 2mph towards them, they would definitely back off and even if they didn't they wouldn't really get hurt. I wouldn't call what you're talking about here "hitting them with your car" though.

"one guy slapped the back of my car with a stick, better loving gun it into a full crowd of people"
nah man, its crazy people are in any way trying to defend this dudes motives. this wasnt just some disgruntled citizen upset his evening commute was blocked up

If you surround my car and start causing damage to it I'm running you down

The operating word in my post was IF

If you surround my car and start causing damage to it I'm running you down
you'd still be charged with assault/criminal intent/murder if it comes to it and you'd lose your drivers license permanently and you'd have to pay like tens of thousands of dollars for their injuries

or maybe, you can be a normal human being and like, back up so that nobody gets hurt

idk, it's a good chance that if someone is actively assaulting your car it'll be considered self-deference if you happen to run them down.

basically don't touch other peoples stuff
