garrys mod (gmod tower when it was still a thing especially holy crap that pushed the bare limits of the engine)
half life 1
portal 2
tower is the most impressive mod I've seen in a game before in terms of how it pushed the boundries of its engine. it was almost seamless.

Bump. Only 13 hours have yet passed. 11 more hours and voting starts seeing the inactivity.

BAAAAP! Time's up for the nominations! Not like you needed that many. Voting has begun, and we're back to a poll! 9 games enter, only 2 will make it to the final vote!

However, one rule: Two games from the same series cannot enter the final vote together. If, for example, Portal 1 and Portal 2 are first and second place, the game on third place will have to rob Portal 2 of its place.

An 'obvious patch rule': Black Mesa and Half-Life 1 cannot be together in the final vote either. I don't suppose this needs explaining.

gotta go with black mesa, really good fan recreation

stanley parable music is good

Bump! This vote started alongside actually serious threads, so it isn't surprising it got stepped over by 'em.
