| As of late, King Matthew III has been pursuing an alliance with the Kingdom of SERPENTIA, and a Serpentian diplomat named GUIDO TIMORAS has just arrived with news from KING ROSSUM VII himself. Little does Matthew III know that the Lunarians had the same idea, and that Serpentia is planning on taking advantage of the tensions to play both sides.
GUIDO: Your Majesty the Honourable King Matthew III of Rubrica, I present to you news from our King, in the intentions of furthering our nations' relationship. MATTHEW: Excellent. We hope it is good news! GUIDO: Indeed it is. The King has drafted a treaty, under which we shall assist you in event of any conflict with the Lunarians via open trade of armaments, within the limits inscribed within Section 4 of Article XVI of the International Treaty on the Conductance of Warfare and the Supply and Trade Thereby Entailed. Such shipments of one-thousand-three-hundred-and-twenty (1320) arrows OR three-hundred (300) swords shall occur on the second Wednesday of each month, provided by the Kingdom of the Serpentines under King Rossum, in addition to smaller shipments as expressly agreed upon by the ratifying parties. In exchange, the Kingdom of Rubrica shall provide one-hundred-fifty-two (152) Serpentine ducats or two-hundred-seventeen (217) Rubrican florins. Except as otherwise expressly provided, whenever in this Act section 6 of the Serpentine Armaments Act of 1295 (47-153) is expressed in terms of section 12 of the Bipartite Trading Act of 1134 (647-23), the term "shipments" means equipment provided to the Kingdom of Rubrica on the pretense that such equipment shall originate from the Kingdom of the Serpentines, for purposes of defense, making war, or other such uses provided they be agreed to by all ratifying parties. It is hereby declared that any person still perusing these texts shall be labelled a massive nerd. Additionally, the Kingdom of the Serpentines expressly reserves the right to cancel, disrupt, not ratify, or otherwise render this treaty null and-
