Our story starts many years ago, in a series of events that would change the face of the world forever. It is a long story, but one that would be pivotal to those that follow.

Two kingdoms stand at war, in a perpetual stalemate. Their castles stand upon opposing hills, baiting each other to stand down first. The Kingdom of RUBRICA's flags are dyed a rich crimson, and the nation is ruled by KING MATTHEW III. Though he is benevolent and allows his people to mostly do as they please, he does not waver in his commitment to the war with the enemy. Speaking of their enemy, the Kingdom of LUNARIA is ruled by KING LOUIS IV, an eccentric man who enacts strange policies, though he is not necessarily malicious.

As of late, King Matthew III has been pursuing an alliance with the Kingdom of SERPENTIA, and a Serpentian diplomat named GUIDO TIMORAS has just arrived with news from KING ROSSUM VII himself. Little does Matthew III know that the Lunarians had the same idea, and that Serpentia is planning on taking advantage of the tensions to play both sides.

GUIDO: Your Majesty the Honourable King Matthew III of Rubrica, I present to you news from our King, in the intentions of furthering our nations' relationship.

In exchange, the Kingdom of Rubrica shall provide one-hundred-fifty-two (152) Serpentine ducats or two-hundred-seventeen (217) Rubrican florins. Except as otherwise expressly provided, whenever in this Act section 6 of the
Serpentine Armaments Act of 1295 (47-153) is expressed in terms of section 12
of the Bipartite Trading Act of 1134 (647-23), the term "shipments" means equipment provided to the Kingdom of Rubrica on the pretense that such equipment shall originate from the Kingdom of the Serpentines, for purposes of defense, making war, or other such uses provided they be agreed to by all ratifying parties. It is hereby declared that any person still perusing these texts shall be labelled a massive nerd. Additionally, the Kingdom of the Serpentines expressly reserves the right to cancel, disrupt, not ratify, or otherwise render this treaty null and-

Hey! What the hell is wrong with you? We were in the middle of reading that!

Great. Now that you've burned the backstory, you don't even have a name. Or a setting. Or stats, or skills, a birthday, or for that matter, any interests! Well, actually, you evidently have one INTEREST: arson.

Sigh. Fine then. What's your name?
