That’s not strawman and no, they couldn’t. Are they just going to walk over a guy they still don’t know if he’s actually armed or not?
It is strawman, he was making it seem like I was talking about the man pulling out a gun when I really wasn't, and even if they did walk up they still could have their guns aimed so if he does anything to try and harm them they can shoot then.

If possible you disarm first then cuff. Not cuff first then disarm.

It's the same thing at the start in the end, they walk up to him weapons drawn so again, they can shoot him if he does anything to try and harm them.

You have half a second to determine if he is reaching for a gun or pulling up his pants. Go.

He had nearly 2 seconds to realise the man put his arm down and just pulled up his trousers.

>We are living in a world after a post vegas hotel massacre on a concert

>The people/media is demanding more security especially for hotel rooms.

>Police are told a guy is pointing a gun out of a hotel room.

>Police rush as fast as possible to prevent another massacre.

>Police kill the guy for reaching at his waistband whom allegedly may have had a gun.

>Everyone is mad at police again
Are you loving stupid this was in January 2016

With the threat of death every five seconds. You think some guy crying and pissing himself is a threat while he's on the ground?
You would think that with the threat of death you would be more prone to following the simple commands, correct?

He had nearly 2 seconds to realise the man put his arm down and just pulled up his trousers.

Life and death situations can happen in 0.5 of a second. Police officers are trained to handle situations in 0.5 of a second.

If police officers handled everything 2 seconds late they would be dead.

In those 2 seconds the guy could have pulled a gun and opened fire.

The guy put his arm down, and around 2 seconds later they shot him, please actually read my posts since you're clearly not.

Just gonna make it clear for you - The man put his elbow down, if the police there were trained to react in 0.5 seconds, they they would've realised his elbow was down, they had 2 whole seconds to think before they decided "forget it, open fire."

He put his arm up when he was specifically told not to

He put his arm up when he was specifically told not to
Again, he put it down, and again, around 2 seconds later, they shot him.

And yet again, they had 2 whole second to think it through but, yet again, they just shot him.

I don't need to explain the importance of proper pants adjusting while you have a gun loving pointed at you with every movement you make watched closely.

You do not touch your pants when police have their guns on you.

And yet again, they had 2 whole second to think it through but, yet again, they just shot him.

Just curious.

Do you believe Han Solo shot second or first?

You're just clawing for whatever you can to try to seem right, they had 2 seconds to realise he put his arm down, you realise that, but you don't want to lose the argument, so you say "but he was told not to!" just to back up your argument.

Strawman is just about a slippery slope, and assuming someone’s viewpoint to the extremes. Tony is entirely in line because that’s what this whole argument is about. Whether or not someone is gonna pull a loving gun on them during a call about a goddamn possible shooter. Also who’s to say he could have failed to grab his supposed gun at first, then attempted to try again? Every move you make is under utmost scrutiny in these situations. Did the police handle it properly? forget no, but the guy was also drunk.

There was a specific reason why Han Solo had to shoot first but Lucas had to edit it to make it seem like Solo shot second to not make Solo seem like a ruthless killer.

In reality if Solo shot second he would have been killed.

Does any of this make sense now?

they had 2 seconds to realise he put his arm down,

YOU DO NOT HAVE 2 SECONDS TO MAKE THESE JUDGEMENTS. How many times do I need to explain this?
