The article's purpose was for the COVID data.
The malicious framing of the AP is not my issue with COVID response,
but malicious media bullstuff is certainly a concern.
"Many" is an arbitrary word, and doesn't really give much in the way of quantifiable data.
This also does not account for the fact that there are people who cannot wear a mask. People with breathing
conditions may not be able to wear masks. I'd advise those people to stay home, as they are putting
themselves at risk more than those without conditions. I also would point out that it is their right to take that
chance if they so desire.
Many parts of life are inaccessible without direct human-to-human interaction, and to deny that to someone
because of conditions that they cannot help would be discrimination. And some might argue that going
to a political rally is not as important as grocery shopping or acquiring medical items. However,
political rallies may be your only chance to talk to your politician of choice and to discuss any grievances or
concerns. Not everyone has access to internet, and not everyone can ask questions remotely.
