I meant more like, why would the politicians who are currently writing laws care about what this guy says they should do right now? Annoying Orange isn't yet in office and Elon doesn't actually work in the white house yet. It just feels weird and annoying that he's trying to throw his weight around as if he's already got the job.

He is threatening to abandon the Torrijos-Carter Treaties of '77 that ceded control of the Panama Cbrown town to Panama, and has said that the US will reclaim the cbrown town, calling it the American Cbrown town, although was not specific on how he plans to wrest control of the cbrown town from the Panamanian government.
