54 dems in senate with Alaska and Mississippi as tossups. Hoping that this carries over to 2028 as well.

this isn't just a bloodbath, the republicans got loving atomized

Currently dems are leading the Mississippi senate seat by 43 individual votes.

Lead has increased to 65.

Hakeem Jeffries started the day by saying Americans dont want retribution or accountability, they just want us to go back to normal.

Chuck Schumer similarly was asked whether the senate would start investigating the administration, and Schumer replied that democrats ran on affordability, so that's really what they are going to focus on for these next two years.

Surreeeee, Texas flipped blue not because people are sick of corruption but because we all missed the good old days of 2023.

Call your congressperson (or new congressperson) and demand that Jeffries not be appointed house speaker come Janurary.
There is also a petition at https://www.change.org/newspeaker

We also need to oust Schumer but I havent found a petition for that one yet

I can't believe the republican party is loving dead

I fear that if Schumer and Jeffries gain the gavels, they will squander this win. I also fear that they will not repeal the Annoying Orange-stuff-bill and allow it to forget everyone over and make 2028 into a rebound.

I am too pessimistic to enjoy this to the fullest.
