I'm on the edge about buying this game. I tested out the trial and loved every minute of it (until I hit level 20) but I'm not sure about the $15 a month subscription or simply the amount of time needed to play it. I've heard enough about how planning for complex dungeons takes hours and hours out of your day, and how many people's lives have been destroyed because they couldn't pull themselves away from the game.

In my opinion, if you don't have any real life friends who play this game and you don't have the money to waste on it, you shouldn't buy it.

At least once a week me and my friends meet @ someone and we do Rated BGs or Raids. Afterwards we go at the nearest pub or hang out somewhere in the woods or near the river..

six times a week we actually hang out all the time and one day (or actually half of it) we're playing wow together.
Most of the time we're drinking beer and don't care for anything anyways.

I have two friends who play WoW. If it was free, or maybe a $5 subscription, it wouldn't be a problem. I just feel that if I'm paying $15 a month, I'll feel impelled to have to play it even if I don't want to, just to get my money's worth.
And with Skyrim coming out soon, I don't want money to be trickling out of my pocket when I'm busy enjoying another game.

That would actually be the only reason why I would buy this game period.

I'm stuck at the Valley of Trials: I was walking around and got 1-shotted by a level 85 orc. Now I have to spend 5 minutes running back to my corpse, only to be shot within 5 seconds of being alive.

Anyone know this funny video where it shows some fake gameplay of all classes? Like where the Dk is being played with an ps2 controller or where warris execute shows a guy hitting another one with his keyboard?

So leveling my 81 DK in Hyjal, I was ganked by level 85s (decently geared, probably at least 359) a few times, once by a priest and once by a feral druid, and I almost killed them each time.
Are blood DKs this OP in pvp, or were the 85s just bad?

Never play WoW without a friend, it's just one of those games.
I play with my girlfriend and her little brother, and a number of other friends.

Anyone wanna play with me? I'm f2p for now :v

Blood isn't really a PVP spec it's like a pally going prot pvping and bragging how good they are because they can stay alive a long time. People play blood for PVP because in BGs and low level arenas they seem OP just because they heal themselves a lot but a good player will teach you quick why blood isn't that great.

Yeah, playing without people is just boring as hell.
