It looks like a great game and all, but I have heard that there are 90 minute cut scenes in the game. Now I think I really would not want to sit and watch a cut scene for 90 minutes, I think that is a little excessive. But what I would like to know is your opinion of the game and what you think of the whole cut scene issue.

Holy stuff loving epic. I would love to watch 90 minute cut scenes of Metal Gear Solid. Same with FF. I always wished cut scenes were longer for those two games.
(I'm being serious in case that sounded sarcastic)

never liked it.
fail and gtfo

So, it's going to be like an epic, epic movie that you control. :D

Also, everyone, Johnny is back. :cookieMonster:

well how else do they fill the content of a blueray disk lol. also this is the last one of the series (at least by these developers that made them all) go out with a bang.
and its been like 4 year instead of the standard 1 or 2 for another sequel. they may as well have something worked on.

The Blue ray disc wasn't big enough for them so they had to turn the GFX down to fit the blue ray disc.

<3 MGS Story, people didn't like it due to the fact you'd be talking to some one mid-game for about an hour about BS relating to the story line. But I love it so much :D So much more interesting then a movie these days.

that sucks, they could have just made it a multi disk game

never liked it.
Me either. Never liked MGS. Also, 90-Minute cutscenes? Bullstuff, that's almost as long as a movie.

I found out the other day also that MGS4 has to download like 4.5 GBs of crap onto your PS3 when you first play it.

that sucks, they could have just made it a multi disk game
And slap about an extra 20-40 dollars, Blue-ray discs are stuff expensive.

It will have too much product placement.

MGS4 is supposed to be the final in the series. The 90 minute cutscenes are supposed to add increasing amounts of detail to the storyling.

Also, Metal Gear Solid is one of the games that has a storyline that surpasses most modern-day films.
