Movement that the turn legth is 4-6(6 if you take 2 days to start) days and that you must acknowledge that it is your turn within 2(see: 6 days) days or you forfeit.

Or some variation of that.

I'm considering this, it should not take all that long to play and then post the updates.

All in all a turn should not need to exceed a week.

I think instead of having a preset order, it would be best for the file to be uploaded, and a link provided here.  Then whoever has enough free time would take their turn, but if there are people who aren't getting a turn in, they can claim their turn if the person who said they'd like to go has gone more times then the person wanting to go.

Laremere, then there would be arguements over who gets to go because they "downloaded it first" and such.

Its easier this way because then we know who to get pissed off at.

Sorry guys for not posting

Getting to work now

EDIT 1:

Before I get anywhere, I'd just like to say:

DANGIT SHEEZY

YOU DON'T EVEN HAVE PROPER BEDROOMS

YOU RUINED AN ENTIRE FLOOR OF HOUSING DEVELOPMENT WITH A SINGLE WATERLINE

WHERE'S THE DUMP?

CATSPLOSION

WORKSHOPS DO NOT NEED INDIVIDUAL ROOMS

WHERE'S THE MIGRANTS?

The quoting thing:
Quote
16th slate, 1057
We have dug out a small area for us to stay in, and it is walled off with fortifications and we have started digging out rooms for a masons workshop.
The spider hasnt ventured off of his little perch yet, but we still feel that it is going to...

20th malachite, 1057
I havn't written in my journal for a while, but there has been lots of work to do.
We have started a tunnel to get magma into the moat, and we have a bridge over our moat.
We also have started a bit on irrigating the farm, and we have a food stockpile and a kitchen.
The spider still hasnt attacked.

The only things that arnt painfully obvious are the underground water features.
Oh wait, its also obvious there are underground water features

16th limestone, 1057
We have finished construction of the lava moat, and we are about ready to irrigate the farm area. We have found copper ore near the caldera of the volcano. A dog went beserk and killed a batman. The spider has yet to attack us. We have also established a kitchen, a masons workshop, a mechanics workshop, and a fishery.

Early Winter
The channel to get some water underground is been finished, I started a farm where there is dirt, and thats pretty much all.
Oh yeah, and I dug a bedroom area.

All I've done is just dig a farm out in the forested area and channel part of the river underground (But I am planning on making that channeled water into a well, shhhhh)

18th moonstone, 1057
We have gotten most workshops that we need dug out already, and we have a farm.
As soon as we got said things established we have encountered a new menace
RHESUS
loving
MACAQUES
Jesus christ, loving monkeys.
We have started digging out a well, so we can refill the god damned irrigation thing faster.
We have finished digging out the bedding areas, and we have found native platinum.
Further prospecting in other places of the mountain, such as the chasm have native platinum too.
We have dug out the area for the metalcrafting and glass industry, and we have a craftsdwarves workshop.
It seems mirrortires has a bright future.
End log.
It's not that screwed up Bushido.

i felt like ranting, whenever i build a fortress i have a large barracks and a row of workshops/forges to start out

EDIT: those migrants i were talking about have arrived! how lucky. :D

three bone carvers
one thresher
a few peasants
a fisherdwarf (?)
a fish cleaner
a jeweler
a gemsetter
a hunter
two animal dissectors
two millers
a tanner
three woodcutters
and a weaponsmith.

cool. that much more for the workforce, the population of Mirrortires is now 26.

I need to finish that turn tomorrow... after going to the mall ten hours from now... I should sleep...

Please take your turn, it only takes a few hours for god sakes.

We could skip him, but I am leaving for a few days... so then you would have to skip me.

I'm kinda going in and out whenever I'm not doing something else

i think of it as a passive kind of thing, not something that urgently needs completion
