Once you learn to control them individually without the mouse it becomes a lot easier. I can dig perfect tunnels now with the keyboard and some other things.

How do you use the keyboard..I am getting really loving pissed off at my ~~lemmings~~ clonks. Also, how do you accurately use the flintrock...my guy keeps chucking it everywhere but where I want it to go.

Is there a way to pump out water? mah caves keep flooding. :(

if you go to the options you can look at your controls. If you play a scenario/match with pipes or you research enough to get them when you hover over them it will give you instructions to use them (you need a pump building). Flintrocks are thrown like all other objects, when you press the throw button, it doesn't throw to your mouse it is just hurled you need to learn to stay back after you clear out a spot to throw it (for example dig around a gold vein and then throw it when you have enough room).

Well, I messed around with different control schemes and buttons but I have come to the conclusion that the control system sucks ass. I know the die hard fans of the Clonk games have all gotten used to it, but honestly it doesn't make sense. I mean...the guy won't stop loving running unless the press down, and Its difficult to control the digging.

The rest of the game is great, I mean, I love all the buildings, the physics, the weather. Its all awesome. But the overly complicated and clunky control scheme is a real let down. :(

I will not be playing it anymore unless they offer a better system.

Well i used a elevator to make a hole then i told the person to get out and dig across so i could get the gold, then he goes back up and stands there

I admit that I have only played the game for a week. And when you say that the guy doesn't stop moving until you press down, thats not what is supposed to happen, and in fact I haven't experienced that, ever! Make sure that in the player selection and double click your player and make sure that under the movement section in the player properties you have the option "Jump 'n Run" selected which will make your Clonks stop moving when you release your movement get, you they actually stop like in a normal game :P

ya, some of the Ai sucks, but once you get used to manually controlling them it gets better...

I beat the first 2 worlds.� need help on the next 4. Also a link to a page that actually teaches how to play would be nice. I assume that I am doing something wrong because collecting all the gold in the first level took loving forever.

How the hell do you built an elevator? I dug the hole, but when I went to place the elevator over top the hole it was Red

find the menu in the lower right corner of the screen. hit construction then elevator

Ok, well it appears my control issues were related to the fact that I was playing Clonk Endeavor which does feature stuff controls. Clonk Rage (which I have now played) is a big improvement.

@colten - you don't dig the shaft first for the elevator, you just build the elevator over some terrain, and when it's finished, you can dig a shaft using the elevator itself.

@Lord Pie - I agree, mining the gold takes hours. I have heard the game talking about "production lines" but unless there is a way to tell the AI to repeat a set of orders over and over again, I can't see it happening.

@everyone - how do you use the loving pump..I am on the desert level and am trying to get the oil out.
