I disagree with you here. My wiimote is fine I stand about 10 feet away from the sensor bar and everything works perfectly.

In my house, it sucks too. Also, my brother's DS Lite's dead, it won't stay on, wish us luck getting it fixed.

I've never had lag bad enough for that. I've only had a small bit lag that was nothing serious. It lasted last than a second AND I was playing Snot and Tails who are across the ATLANTIC.

It is very tempting to jam a screwdriver into the disk slot and scramble everything that is in there, that way I would at least get my $75 worth, and so they would actually have something to fix.

Just pay for it to get fixed and stop bitching. D: You should make sure everything is secured when young ones come over. You were probably too far from the Wii anyway for the GameCube wire(I'm guessing) to actually trip someone.

I have a Wii solely for playing Gamecube games and Brawl.
Also, don't get Need For Speed pro street, MLB power pros, or Mario And Sonic at the olympic games. They are the biggest wastes of money my brother has ever gotten, and I NEVER play them. You shouldn't either.

1) use it(other ones failed)
2) over use it(someone needs to stab these people in the face WAGGLE THE WII MOTE TO EAT CHEEES!!)

Actually, the problem is probly bright sunlight that is confusing your Wii motes.� If you have windos right next to or shining on your Tv, close their curtains and it should work better.� Also, make sure that the senser bar settings are correct for its possition, and you may need to adjust your sensativity under settings.

If your having problem with the wii mote getting sensed, turn up the sensitivity.

nintendo also had the nes zapper and the super scope (as seen in smash bros melee and brawl)

When did I say I had trouble pointing it? Pointing it works perfectly most of the time; it's just the stuffty gestures some games have, like how you have to block in Wii Sports Boxing. It doesn't work perfectly all the time, unless you memorize the perfect "correct" movement, or something.

It costs $75 to fix one part from a 3 foot fall with a soft landing. You would probably be pissed about it for a while, too. I have no problem paying for it, it is just bullstuff in a lot of senses of the word.

Everything was secured, and I was 2-3 feet away from the TV, and the kid was being handicapped and the mom not watching.

It is not the first of its kind with the technology it uses. It may be the first of its kind to actually use technology like that for a gaming console, but it isn't like Nintendo invented all of that stuff.

I realize that the Wii is the cheapest one out of the three, which explains the low quality of small things about it, and how fragile it is.

Small things like the speaker in the Wiimote, though, could be at least slightly better. It sounds like they tore a speaker from the Game Boy Advance, made it a little better, and then put it directly into the Wiimote.
