All these maps won't even work once V21 is out.

That's been established many times...

Those use interiors, but I guess they can be ported, but they are using waterblocks which I think will be removed (but I hope not)

Waterblocks are not interiors, that question was answered in the shadow topic.

No, but they're writing an entirely new foundation for slate maps due to the removal of slate.dif. There will no longer be an edge to Slate, and the waterblock will most likely be removed (it was mainly there for when you get to the edge of Slate).

Brickwise yes. You will now be able to continue building forever and ever.

Hey guys, I'm aware of the v21 update and I am thinking of converting some of the maps into modular brick units to keep them alive after the update is released. I've already began experimenting with modular terrain bricks (which consist of static shapes in unrendered bricks) - pictures are attached below.

Even though most of the terrain units only consist of one face, there are still some lag issues. I'm hoping to convert them into .blb format to further improve performance, but I may have to wait until the dev. tools are released. If anyone wants to help it would be greatly appreciated. :) I'll keep y'all updated on the progress.
