My thoughts on update:

Survival mode- finale on steroids (not a good thing)

Finale- tank, specials, frustrating, not as fun as the rest of the campaign

Tank- way too loving often in survival and way too loving strong






I would personally play no tank survival.
Or survival with Gen. Nick's differences.



I really wish they would address versus mode.

The 3 laws of versus:

#1: The team you join will always be the losing team unless you are with friends making a new game
 
#2: Your team(if it is the losing) will always have disconnecting players.

#3: The enemy team(if it is the winning) will have score in the thousands and will have no disconnectors.



My suggestion:
- vote team scramble(requires one team to pass it in order to succeed)
- score for more things than just surviving(don't give me that distance stuff, its worthless compared to surviving pointage)
- help for failing teams
  - if the survivors aren't doing well the time between hordes is increased
  - if the zombies are doing poorly the time between hordes is lowered
- lower zombie respawn time by 2 seconds for each player that has a Tier 2 weapon, and increase it by 1 for each that has a Tier 1
  -counteract: if all players have tier 1, nothing is added
  -counteract: if all players have tier 2 but are marked as a "failing survivor team"(see above) nothing is subtracted
 
-increase item density in detour-type areas
-help a team take its time instead of forcing it to rush.

Survival is easy. I always camp behind the ladder next to the light. But I always get owned by hunters.

The tanks in Survival are really easy to take down. It's the hunters/smokers that usually get me, cause I go on the top of the lighthouse, which has worked really well for me.

It took them this long to add a clock and one new map?


Every server I go to since the update, normally after 2 rounds we turn cheats on and do some barricade mod. The update is good... and add something diffrent and something quick and easy to play. Though overall I was expecting something alone the lines of THE SD loving K so we could make our own maps rather then stupid ones we get forced to play.

I would love to have the options to tinker with survival mode, turn tanks off or even lower the spawn rate would be nice. Also the random spawn locations of items pretty much determens if you'll last long, top of the light house we had heaps of pipe booms but no molotovs. So we pretty much got owned for not being able to burn tanks.

That's about the only real good thing from it, I played 2 rounds before I had to catch the bus to work today :P

I still can't believe high score is 30:00. Valve only got 10:00.

The item spawns aren't random in survival. Also there are plenty of molotovs on the light beacon stand(climb up).
