Author Topic: Why I hate the PC  (Read 5316 times)

The only thing that I hate about PC gaming is that you have to buy a stuffload of stuff so you can run games without any FPS loss on the highest settings, and THEN you have to check if your PSU has enough power to use it, THEN all this PCE stuff.

I agree with you actually.

I recently spent 1400$ on a new computer, although i can play most games on max i just feels like alot, and most of the games are on Xbox 360 aswell. It just ends up being alot of money because there isnt any renting system for PC games so you spend alot of money buying games.

This thread has derailed, prepare for impact.

snot is actually liking pc more, probably because i havent had a 360 in over a year and wii gets boring apart from brawl with tails :D

but wouldnt it be awesome if all games were on the other systems naturally (by natural i mean not copying the game form the computer onto a disk/cartridge and making it work)

i think flatout for the wii would be fun if the wii could support advanced physics...
You haven't seen Boom Blox, have you?

I hate that type of crap. I also hate it when they constantly upgrade.

i have played and beaten that game to every extent. By advanced physics, I mean you hit a car somewhere and is dents there and makes all mobile objects on hinges that were hit with enough force detach at areas related to the crash. Also, I don't think the wii has ever had a game with ragdolls? (realistic ragdolls)

Name one game where they don't fly around unrealisticly at one point.

apart from brawl with tails :D
:3

It takes longer because they improve the graphics and stuff
(if its not a direct console port, if it is it will suck)

Ya know, PC's can have variable RAM, storage, and video cards, so you can go 8/16-bit or just stay at the top of the game, where Half-Life 2: Episode 2 at full detail can go.

ITT: People that don't know what they're talking about.

What are you talking about!?! im always on 16 bit, and im always on top of the game!

You hate the PC because a handful of games weren't released on it? What about the other thousands of titles that were released spanning many genres and appealing to many demographics?

When it comes to variety, customization and capability the PC is the best platform. Consoles are like Macintosh computers; works great out the box but you are pretty much locked into the hardware/software that came with it.

Don't listen to Shadow86...
