Christianity is blind, at least to a certain extent. My friend 'doesn't believe' in Plate Tectonics, so refuses to believe that Mt. Everest was once smaller than it actually is. I say this because that is usually my response when he says, "Explain why there are sea shells on Mt. Everest." He's oblivious to the fact that it was once smaller, and believes that that phenomenon was caused by the great flood.
Also, I always get a good laugh in History/Science class at his response when the teacher says something along the lines of, "[number] million years ago."
