Needs more flatshading.

Ok I knew this was coming. Flat things get flat-shaded. This brick is round. Round things get smooth shaded. Look at the sides of the round bricks included with the game and you will discover they are, in fact, smooth shaded.

LIE....Oh, never-mind.

I agree with you completely. There's a reason its called flat shading.

1x3 as a building plate, 2x3x1-1/3 as the actual volume of the brick, I guess.

Haha, you don't even know what you're talking about...
Indeed I don't.

Oh by the way here's a brick I've already made with the help of my program. Click it for bigger.

looks like a piece from the sorry game.

Haha it does... I played that game with 2 of my cousin's, it was fun.

Actually I've written a program in C# that helps me make blbs. It converts the polygons to the format blb's use for faces, but there's still a lot of stuff I have to do manually (texturing, collision, all the stuff that handles face-culling, etc).

As for progress on the brick, I'm working on it.

Looks like a love toy...

That program would be nice to have. Needless to say, mind accelerating work on that, or share it with others to script make it go faster? Weapon mods are growing tiresome. Brick mods I can deal with.

For the sake of this game I hope Zor never gives this to another soul. We'd just have idiots converting the crappiest crap into bricks and then drowning the add-ons section with them.

Sweet jesus, Zor, if you release that you'll be my heroine forever, since i have always been trying to make my own bricks out of DTS's (The same method as Trader's doors) And they kept failing. D:

True, but about 70% of the idiots don't even know how to model.

Point proven.

Jesus christ, i only tried to make my own special bricks (Such as a lever for events, Packer gave me a model some time ago) but they didn't work out properly, and i wouldn't release them.

For a lever you would better use an 1x1 brick with rendering off and a shape on it, bricks can't be animated.

Yeah, that was what i tried.
And they CAN be animated, depends if it has a DTS attached to it (E.G Trader's doors)

In which case the DTS would be the
shape on it

fxDTSBricks cannot be animated. StaticShapes can, but making too many of those could lag the server like placing too many bricks in Blockland v0002.

I think it's the sphere that bugs me.
It looks odd when it's smooth shaded.
