Even if there were nukes to destroy it, the debris would scatter and possibly hit Earth, but I doubt a meteor would even get close to hitting us.

why don't we just launch a nuke at it while it is by saturn or something and watch it explode by jupiter or mars.

Actually, there is a meteor that came close and will return in 2036. There was a show about it on the History Channel, but I forget which one.

But the chance of it actually hitting the Earth is very low.
