Meh, I got lost after the mayor in Logar, So I just started doing random quests.

I am a level 18 mage with no second class and I have not spent a single talent point.

What spells should I put ranks in?

Fireball does alot of damage

Flare does more, and since Fireball can't really be reused on the same monster most of the time due to the cooldown, is more mana efficient as a pull spell.

But there are so many spells, and I only have enough points to max somewhere around 4 of them.

What i do is cast fireball then the spell that roots them then fire the insta cast spells at them

Most of the time I use fireball then flare and the monster is dead. :D

I do Rising Tide, Fireball, then Lightning or Ice Fog.

Pure mage not priest-mage.


I go with the power-up spell, flare, lightning, meteor shower, wind arrow, electric explosion.

Maybe they changed it since then.
