Plain and simple, I loved the game, but I am disappointed at the whole freezing issue. But I have yet to try the installing to the hard drive solution. I suppose I was just waiting for the patch to come out and see if that would do it. They keep delaying that, so I might as well give it a shot.

What's everyone's general opinion of the game?

I love it.

Though, the only thing I disliked about it was how small Albion felt in comparison to the first Fable.

It seemed to be lacking enemies, when most of them are either bandits or hobbes.

But, still, I love to play it because I found replay value in it, I loved the jobs, and just to slaughter towns.

I have fable one, I finished it in like two or threee days, as a good guy, I've started a new game as an evil dude, and I'm trying to do more side quests.

Also, I wish I had Fable 2.

fable tlc was better IMO

Fable 2 has a couple of issues or so I've heard.

Every game has issues.

I am still waiting to get this game in the mail. Should arrive soon...

Fable 2 is better has a better storyline and plot, also lots of bonus quests :D!

the storyline was actually a little cheesy, yet strangely sad and dramatic, it was a great experience, when I finished the game I knew I had done something great, it was not that difficult a game either, I put this game under legends category, along with a few others.

Loved it.

Almost as much as my Hero loves Constance the Aristocrat.

nerd lol

I never played the first one, myself. But playing the second one was a bit of an eye opener to be sure. I simply thought it was going to be one of those RPGs that anyone could play but when I was playing and things were going on, I was rather shocked. There goes my poor lil virginity. lol I didn't even read the box either, or else I would have realized it wasn't for kiddies.

But I still ended up beating the molasses out of the game as a pure good. I also have a pure evil one where my first act was to slaughter the entire gypsy camp. The wheel of sacrifice was amusing as well. Got a nice weapon out of it after killing one of my many spouses. I suppose the real challenge is to make a neutral character and maintain that.

I never played the first fable, but I love fable 2.  my only gripe with it is, to me, the storyline is very short.  I haven't touched it since I beat it.  but I loved it while it lasted.
